About: Funding available for Southeast Michigan artists supporting collaborative visual arts projects. Grants support artist organized projects that are experimental and risk-taking, collaborative, shared with the public, and embrace contemporary, creative possibilities for the future of arts and culture. Annually, the fund offers six grants of $10,000 each to support artists for these innovative, public-facing projects across the seven counties of Southeast Michigan.

About: The Anton Art Center is seeking art instructors and is accepting class proposal submissions for review. Mediums may include jewelry, drawing, painting, mosaics, and more. We offer flexible schedules, lesson plan assistance, training, supplies, registration administration, and marketing support. Our classes are scheduled up to four or so months in advance. Classes and workshops vary from one day only to one day a week for six or eight weeks, depending on class type and classroom availability.

About: The Anton Art Center is accepting exhibition proposal submissions for review from individual artists, artist groups, or guest curators. Applications are reviewed for a variety of limited available exhibition slots, typically between 10 to 24 months in advance. Exhibitions slots vary from 4-8 weeks for each of our two gallery spaces (Level 1 and Level 2). Proposals may be for one or both of the gallery floors.

About: This ongoing monthly contest is open to individual youth photographers ages 5-13. Original nature photography welcome.

Awards: Selected entries are posted in the online slideshow and eligible for the Magazine Award, selected three times per year for publication. Winners receive a certificate and copies of the magazine.
