About: Open to Michigan artists ages 18+. Entries must be original 2-D works measuring 24x30 inches and weigh less than 25 lbs. Theme is "Tradition of Success". Limit one entry per person. See rules for details. Entries are juried.
Award: $5,000 cash prize and (4) tickets to a Red Wings Home Game in the Rehmann Club Art Gallery at Little Ceasars Arena ($1,000 value).

About: Students in grades 7-12 enrolled in private, parochial, public, or home school in Macomb County are eligible to enter this professionally juried exhibition through their art teacher only. Open to all media. Open March 14 - April 11, 2026.
Awards: $1,200+ in cash and prizes, ribbons, and certificates
Entry fee: $2 per artwork

About: Detroit Artists Market (DAM) launches the Creative Entrepreneurship Initiative, a new program designed to help visual artists strengthen the business side of their creative practice. The initiative brings together workshops, talks, and professional development opportunities that give artists practical tools for building sustainable careers. Programs are scheduled for December 2025 - March 2026.
Cost: Free for DAM members. Suggested donation $15. Open to the public.

About: The Anton Art Center accepts applications year-round for its Art Market open January through October located on the first floor of the building. Mediums may include jewelry, drawing, painting, mosaics, wood, glass, ceramic, fiber, and more.

CLASS PROPOSALS

About: The Anton Art Center is seeking art instructors and is accepting class proposal submissions for review. Mediums may include jewelry, drawing, painting, mosaics, and more. We offer flexible schedules, lesson plan assistance, training, supplies, registration administration, and marketing support. Our classes are scheduled up to four or so months in advance. Classes and workshops vary from one day only to one day a week for six or eight weeks, depending on class type and classroom availability.

CALL FOR EXHIBITION PROPOSALS

About: The Anton Art Center is accepting exhibition proposal submissions for review from individual artists, artist groups, or guest curators. Applications are reviewed for a variety of limited available exhibition slots, typically between 10 to 24 months in advance. Exhibitions slots vary from 4-8 weeks for each of our two gallery spaces (Level 1 and Level 2). Proposals may be for one or both of the gallery floors.
