VOLUNTEER

Check out the variety of opportunities to make a difference in your community and support the arts!

Daily operations and year-round programming are made possible through the generous support of volunteers. Our team invites students ages 14+ and adults to apply to volunteer with us in a role of your choosing:

ART MARKET

The Art Market is stocked with the unique works of local artists year-round. Volunteers stationed at the Art Market desk welcome and assist guests with sales and program information during regular hours. Volunteers may sign up for as many shifts as desired, weekly, monthly, or as needed.

The Market takes on a major expansion during the holiday season in November and December each year for a sprawling Holiday Market throughout the first floor with extended hours and special events.

EXHIBITIONS DEPARTMENT

Exhibitions on both floors typically change every six to eight weeks and extra help assisting staff and artists with exhibit tasks and is always appreciated. Volunteers assist with gallery space preparation, artwork intake, installation, reception events, exhibit take down, and artwork pick up. It is a great chance to get involved in the behind-the-scenes of gallery operations.

ART CLASSES

Youth ages preschool and up and adult class offerings include watercolor, acrylic flow, multi-media, oil paint, alcohol ink, ceramics, loom weaving, jewelry, beadmaking, art history, and more. Classes are offered year-round by semester. Volunteers assist our teachers and students in the classroom with instruction set-up, student questions, clean-up, and more.

SPECIAL EVENTS

We regularly host special events on site and attend local community events off site to advocate for our programs and provide arts experiences for attendees. Volunteers assist with event set-up, tear-down, engaging with visitors, and assisting with various arts activities.

COMMITTEE SUPPORT

Our largest events of the year, such as SUPER SatARTday, ArtParty, and Holiday Market, need additional planning support. Volunteer special event committee members help the organization's efforts in successful community event planning and fundraising.

OTHER SUPPORT

Other opportunities may include office tasks, outdoor gardening, seasonal cleaning, light maintenance and repair, or housekeeping. Please make a note of any specific interests.
