Lower Level, Mount Clemens Public Library (150 Cass Avenue)


The Congressional Art Competition is a nationwide juried student art event sponsored by The Congressional Institute in Washing, D.C. All Congressional Districts are invited to participate. The single best work from each participating district is displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year and the student is invited to attend the reception. Second and third place winners will hang in the district's office in Washington.


With their community partners Anton Art Center and the Mount Clemens Public Library, the 10th Congressional District of Michigan is hosting an exhibition of the artwork submissions by its district's students in grades 9 through 12 enrolled in private, public, parochial, or homeschool.


Reception & Awards Announcement on Thursday, May 2nd, 4:30-5:30pm at the Library. This exhibit and event is free and open to the public.
