Round 2 Art Projects Mini-grant Awardees

The Arts Academy in the Woods received funding to host a 10 day residency from the professional choreographers and dancers of Eisenhower Dance Detroit. Thirty students from AAW will participate in this residency and performance.

Cinema Lamont received funding support to showcase the best award-winning contemporary animation with a five-film series featuring films from around the world.

In addition to the film screenings, there will also be animation workshops with local experts.

The Mount Clemens's Downtown Development Authority received funding to provide musical entertainment featuring five acts comprised of 40 national, regional and local entertainers

Ferndale Arts & Cultural Commission has received funding to add "underrepresented arts" to their current fair's activities.Including literature, theater and traditional music.

Paint Creek Center for the Arts has received funding to support the Art & Apples Festival. This year's program will focus on providing more art-making opportunities and demonstrations.

The Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce has received funding to support The Art of Fire - Scrap Fest. Twelve artist will focus on re-purposed metal, clay & glass elements to create sculptures.
